The turkey hunting trip I'd planned with Floyd and Travis has fallen through for me. Floyd and Travis still went, but it wasn't to be for me. I have too much to do this weekend. Repair the a/c on the Suburban for one....

Archery elk hunt planned for this fall

Jason S. and I are planning an archery elk hunt Near South Fork, CO, probably the first weekend of September. I'll be using a High Country bow, which needs a tune up. I'm planning on switching to carbon arrows, a Whisker Biscuit arrow rest, an Eradicator sight, and Turbo nocks. I don't have a long time to practice, so I'm starting ASAP.

The Rowlett Floods of Ought-Six

The rainwaters came a couple of weeks ago. After the heavy rains had been stopped for a few hours, the water was still up this high around the block from our house. We're on higher ground, so didn't have any problems. 

Gavin's 1st T-Ball game

Today was Gavin's first T-Ball game. He did great. I'm very proud of how he listens to the coach and pays attention to what's going on. Click here for a gallery.
