Flying toddlers

Test of the Digital Rebel's speed of use vs. point and shoot cameras. I'm able to capture an image of the rare and nocturnal flying toddler hovering past me. I would've missed this shot with my old camera because of speed and low-light focusing deficiencies.

Tribute to Lancy, Faithful Friend and Weenie Dog

Our dog of 10 years, Lancy (a.k.a Lulu) died early Saturday morning, after a brief struggle with a heart valve problem and conjestive heart failure, at the age of about 12. She was a great dog, a funny character, a guardian, and a friend. We will all miss her very much.
